Global Safe Abortion Conference 2007

Marie Stopes International hosted a two day conference in London on 23 and 24 October confronting both national and international issues associated with unsafe abortion, and focusing on rights, access, advocacy and funding. The conference, held in association with Ipas and Abortion Rights, also marked the 40th anniversary of the 1967 Abortion Act, reviewed current barriers to access and issues of concern in UK provision and practice.
