How we can help you

If you are writing a story on Marie Stopes International, Marie Stopes International’s Press Team can assist you in a variety of ways. The team can provide information and/or arrange interviews on any of the following:

• Marie Stopes International’s Mission and Goals in sexual and reproductive health and rights
• Marie Stopes International’s UK programme including interviews with key programme team members, who can give first-hand accounts of the positive effect that good reproductive health has on a woman's life
• human interest stories and case studies from Marie Stopes International’s programmes around the world

Arranging interviews

The Press Team can also arrange interviews with Marie Stopes International experts in a wide range of issues, including:

• Marie Stopes International’s pioneering activities in the provision of high quality abortion services in the UK
• raising awareness about reproductive health among young people; contraception; encouraging men to take responsibility for contraception; taking reproductive health services to the workplace; sexually transmitted infections
• Marie Stopes International’s advocacy activities in the UK and in the European Parliament

Facilitating

The Press Team can also help facilitate the following:

• visits to Marie Stopes International’s centres throughout the UK, which offer abortion, contraception, female sterilisation, vasectomy and health services. Journalists will be able to talk to team members and in some circumstances, clients
• filming and photography opportunities inside and outside our centres
• access to images from Marie Stopes International’s own image library, including archive images of Dr Marie Stopes
