What are my pregnancy options?

If you are pregnant you have the following options:

1. Continue with the pregnancy and become a parent.

If you wish to do this, you should contact your GP, who will arrange ante-natal care. If you’re not registered with a GP, you can find one in your area here www.nhs.uk

2. Continue with the pregnancy and consider adoption or fostering.

If you do not wish to become a parent but do not want an abortion contact the British Adoption and Fostering Association www.baaf.org.uk

3. End the pregnancy through abortion.

If you do not wish to continue with the pregnancy, contact your GP, family planning clinic or Marie Stopes International on 0845 300 3737.

It's important to weigh up each of these options carefully. If you are unsure, talk to someone you trust. If there is no one you can talk to you can always call us to discuss your feelings with a counsellor – although the final decision should be yours, it may help to talk.
